Majestic Montenegro

Montenegro was such a fun trip and I wish we were there for longer.  Everything about Montenegro was so different from every other county we’ve been to, and it was so fun to go to some place totally new. We went to so many towns/cities and they were all so different. Montengro is definitely a place we would go back to.                                                                                                                                                 

Kotor

Kotor was super cool and so different from a lot of other places we went to on this trip. We had the perfect Airbnb spot and we went at a great time of the year. Some of the things we

loved about Kotor especially was the cats. You would walk into the old town and just see tons of stray cats, some friendly, others just ran, but it was so cool! Sometimes you would be eating dinner and the cats would just come up and sit there waiting for you to drop some food. Some of the other towns/cities we went to in Montenegro had some cats, but Kotor was my favorite place to see them, and it definitely had the most cats.

Budva  

Budva was fun, a little drive but worth it. We were all very hungry, but wanted to look around first so we did. We get hangry very easily and love to eat so once we ate everything was better. And I was very surprised to see some cats there! The unique thing about Budva is there isn’t really roads, I mean there is but normally people don’t drive, some people did which was crazy because we had to jump out of the way but we parked far away so it was good. After a little while we tried to find a beach and once we did I was excited, This beach was so different from all the other beaches we went to, you didn’t really need water shoes because it was very sandy but there were some sharp parts around, so you had to be careful. We had a lot of fun, played a lot of games then got ice cream. I AM GLAD WE STOPPED IN BUDVA.

Mountains

I was glad we got to spend two days in the mountains. Sometimes were better then others, but I am still glad we went. Lucas got pretty sick which had a little stop in the road and set us back. As soon as we got there we stepped out of the car and froze, Kotor was so much warmer!!! I ran to the car, grabbed a sweatshirt and ran to our cabin, it was so cool! It was like a log cabin! I eventually saw two very cute dogs and I went to pet them. Then I saw a cat but the cat didn’t look like it wanted to play. I found out they didn’t have an owner but one was checked and healthy and ready to find a home. That night we had some good dinner and went to get some good sleep, there was one big bed and 3 littles beds for me and Lucas. That night there was a big storm and I thouught the cabin would be a little shakey like home but it didn’t move or creak at all, even my dad noticed. Other then all the dogs barking and the storm, I got pretty good sleep. Eventually it was time for the long long hike. I'm talking almost 4 miles, just for fun.

Overall Montenegro was a great trip. And at all places in Montenegro we always seemed to like the food.
